Deadly Druid Mod Pack 1.7.10

Deadly Druid Mod Pack 1.7.10. Eon’s ago the Empire of Light tricked Samhain, god of darkness and the dead, trapping him within his own dread realm. Yet it is impossible to truly trap a deity. Every year the priests of Light sacrifice all those found to be tainted by magic. As one of those condemned souls you accepted that your death would give life to the empire and it’s technology for another year. Instead you wake in a strange, alien, realm dominated by the powers of night . . . Somehow you have survived but can you prosper here?

  • For Curse Voice – Find, run, and play the mod pack with ease on Curse Voice.
  • HQM/Enabled – The quest book provides you with a “journal” to provide back story and help new players get started on many of the included mods. It won’t hold your hand but it will show you a lot of interesting things and give you minor rewards for trying them out.
  • A Living World – A combination of Lycanites Mobs and the Grimoire of Gaia populates your world with deadly creatures from both mythology and nightmare. At the same time Special Mobs provides new faces and powers for all your old enemies; and special AI gives new and dangerous behaviors to even the most boring passive mob.
  • And Living Darkness – Darkness dominates this world. The nights are darker and when there is no moon they are pitch black. Yet light doesn’t work here the same way it did back “home” torches burn out after an hour unless enhanced by magic dust or glow stone. Campfires do last forever but are harder to make and require a camping knife to safely move.  Even worse many creatures will attack your lights. Thankfully you can learn to make candles, glowing flowers, even mystical balls of pure light but . . . never forget that the darkness is alive!
  • Spend more time on the surface – You can make tents, sleeping bags, and backpacks as you explore the surface world. Most ores can be found in mountainsides or under the water. You can also sift through gravel to find bits of flint or sometimes even iron. There are plenty of strange beasts to hunt, to tame, and to defend against. Some of them drop interesting/rare items.  With a bit of effort you can even explore or colonize the depths of the ocean!
  • And explore the Twilight Forest – Twilight Forest Integration happens with naturally occurring portals scattered all over the around the over-world map.
  • Then dig down for more fun- You won’t reach the nether through a nether portal. Instead if you dig down deep enough you will reach the subteranean world known as the Erebus, a land dominated by insects. Only at the bottom of this realm will you find the nether, and other, darker realms lurk even further below.
This pack runs best in conjunction with Fastcraft, by Player. Fastcraft enhances Minecraft with increased performance. Newer computers may not require this addition. My computer, which is several years old, does.
